Access Keys
Access keys have not been implemented due to their possible interference with other applications you may be using to aid your viewing of this website.
Skip links
‘Skip to content’ and ‘Skip to navigation’ links have been provided to allow users of text-only browsers and screen readers to jump straight to the required part of the current page.
Browser Preferences
We recommend My Web My Way, a partnership between BBC online and AbilityNet which ‘provides advice and help to all those people who would benefit from making changes to their browser, operating system, or computer to be able to view BBC online and the rest of the web in a more accessible way’.
Microsoft Word and Portable Document Format (PDF) files
This site contains links to Word and PDF files which we realise visually impaired users might have difficulty with. Microsoft have provided accessibility tutorials for Word 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007 and 2010. Adobe’s ‘Information for users with disabilities‘ provides help and information for PDF files.
